“But I don’t like folk music ...”  Don’t worry.

Our definition of folk music is broad and takes in everything from a traditional English ballad to contemporary Americana.

Previous acts have  included  Eilen Jewell...Michael Chapman...Po’ Girl …Martha Tilston. Surely something for everyone.

We are a non-profit making organisation, run as a club dedicated to putting  on high quality live acoustic music.

Membership is £10 for 12 months and members receive a discount on Folk Night tickets. Membership forms are available at all gigs or contact us for further details.

Our gigs are held upstairs at The Royal Native  Oyster Stores. This is an  historic venue, right on the beach,  providing a  relaxed and intimate atmosphere - perfect for folk music.

Doors open 7pm and the music starts 8pm.There is a well-stocked bar available before, during and after the gig. All ages are welcome.

Please take a look at What's On for the coming months and we look forward to seeing you at the next Whitstable Folk Night !
